Then I actually applied the anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics and even sport psychology that I had spent 6-years studying to create a custom program which would provide the stability, strength, stamina and speed necessary to return to sport.
We weren’t even doing true ‘strength and conditioning’ for their sport, just ‘rehabbing’. Upon their return to sport, most of those athletes came back to say how they felt even better on the ice or on the field after rehabbing than they felt before the injury. And some of them started to hire me privately to continue training after their injury.

It was also during that time that I trained my first pro goalie who was in the clinic during the off-season for a serious shoulder injury that actually threatened his career.
