When a client comes to me, I use all my experience and knowledge of all music genres, including acoustic, new wave, electro, industrial, classical, hip-hop, folk, ska, shoegaze, dubstep, big band jazz, trance, electronic and more, to fill the music demands of ad agencies, video production companies, game developers, producers and editors.
I also utilize our entire catalog of music at Musync, which gives me the ability to find the exact match for a song in a major TV series (like Ugly Betty, Damages and several HBO series), or just simple background music for a bar fight.
One of the reasons musicians fail, is they approach the wrong people with the wrong music. Their excitement and lack of knowledge naiveté blunts their ability to identify the right market and match for their music. As a music supervisor, I constantly review 100’s of tracks every week and have to keep in my head literally thousands of music tracks , so I’m always prepared to meet the music needs of every client.
